"I wouldn't go there if I were you." Rhaenys turns her head, ears still pinned. Her expression is of annoyance at being disturbed, not that she was really doing much other than looking off into the distance. She wants to retort that she can go anywhere she damn well pleases, she's a queen after all. Though she supposes it doesn't hold much weight out here. At least not yet. And she's loathe to go announcing herself if no one is planning on bowing, it would be embarrassing and she's not sure she could live with that.

"You don't have to tell me I'm pretty, I already know." Her voice is sickly sweet and fake as she bats her eyelashes, lips twitching with the urge to grimace. She grunts after letting the mask fall and turning her attention back to the lagoon. "What's over there?" Rhaenys asks, an attempt at casual conversation and she tries not to sound too invested. She was here to learn after all, but it wasn't as if she needed to go shouting her intentions all over the islands.

His attempt to stand next to her is rebuffed with a scoff as she steps away, though only a single step. Her dark gaze swings to his haunches and a smirk rises to her dark lips. "I see you've healed, mystery boy," she purrs, watching him through pale lashes. She remembers their cat and mouse game all those months ago. She still never did figure out who was the mouse.

"Maybe I'm out here looking for a big strong man," she teases, walking a delicate circle around him. The lagoon all but forgotten for now. "And why are you here? Did the women of Salem finally come to their senses and kick you to the curb?" She makes a tsking sound, moving to press her hips to his as she passes as if her earlier rejection of his touch had never happened. "You must be so lonely." Despite the time they had been apart, Rhaenys falls easily back into the same game they had played once before.
