Interesting as back in March 2023, it was suggested there would be up to 24 new C130 J's for the RAAF. Comment by the Defence Minister that the new a/c would be based at Richmond. Could this signal that they will be based elsewhere in the future and Richmond civilianised? If so, I hope it is not at Amberley. Not wise to have all of the transport fleet in one location. Replies:
