I don't think we even know for certain that someone left the car running at Quiktrip #1 in Lenexa before it was reported stolen and dumped at Quiktrip #2 in Mission.
The media knows the questions it wants to ask of the investigating agency. Why did a Fairway officer need to respond to mutual aid at I-35 and Lamar? Did they have any sort of plan for entering the building? It sounds like they just stampeded in the front door and the suspect (the one who died) had a clean shot.
