Re(1): Scripps Is Tanking FAST

So what's Scripps done that cost it viewers? And which are it's flagship stations in big markets where it's hit em hard?

I'm hoping ABC News collapses because what they do to news isn't news. Saying "Tonight" every 15 seconds.... Field reporters repeating the lead sentence immediately after the anchor intro's them...telling each story 3 times virtually using the same words and same video. Dropping most all verbs except present participle so as never to use past tense or passive voice. Focusing on their news gathering instead of the news itself. Adding liveshot elements with virtually no additional content, so having to start out every story with "That's right, David...."

Their story count is WAY down, and focuses on spot news that's usually only of local interest...and of course covering every shark attack in this hemisphere. And sensationalizing every weather storm kicking up, despite that their local stations have 2-3 weather segments both before and after their Evening news.

Its tabloid news which the top networks never were--until now!

Do they have a bunch of Scripps stations?

Sadly NBC's picked up on some of that language butchering as has CBS but CBS works at using a traditional stylebook when possible.
