The crowd seemed small on Sunday...weather was perfect (perhaps a bit hot). We were able to purchase General Admission tickets and sit in the front grandstand reserved section at the start/finish line...there was plenty of room. The back grandstand crowd was sparse. It used to be that we would sit in the back grandstand because the front was so packed that it was uncomfortable and difficult to move to/from your seats.
The other thing we noticed was that the crowd seemed to be dominated by ageing baby boomers. Younger generations don't seem that interested. Replies:
