To say Miriella was irritated to have been taken away from the Lagoon was an understatement. The boss, who she hardly knew and actively avoided, lost the fight against the painted mare who’d come after her. Miriella had a sneaking suspicion it had been purposeful, given that she knew Vadim and the Lagoon boss did not get on well. Would the boss have really given it his all in fighting to keep her here? Was Vadim off, too busy with his other whores to defend her? It was apparently his fault she’d had someone come after her in the first place.

Yet another mother out defending her daughter, that one thing she would never, ever have. It made Miriella fucking sick.

The sour mood prevailed as she swam ashore of the Inlet on Tinuvel. Her father had told her and her siblings about Tinuvel often, being that it was where he had been born and grew up. The last thing Miriella cared for was any further, rekindled connections to her father, though. Any adventurous curiosity she may have once harbored was snuffed out completely. Miriella didn’t care at all, her blue eyes peering around her, completely unimpressed.

She didn’t walk any further into the territory. Miriella had a feeling the queen who’d come to take her would be all too happy to gloat over her great big success and would find her as soon as she could.
