He remembers seeing them in the Dunes, but they always kept to themselves. Aries never ventured their way and they never ventured towards him. It was some kind of understanding Nyimara had with them, but he also remembers his sister speaking of them prior to him coming to stay in the Dunes. She had said she did not know them herself, but remembers seeing some of them long ago when Maslakhat ruled. Scorpio had been young back then so she didn't remember much of them.

Aries faintly remembers Sagittarius mentioning one of the children of the Sadim. She said her name was Nashira and that they were new friends. That was before her mother died birthing Iah. It felt like a life time ago for him, but it has only been a year. A year since everyone he was close to left him in some form or another.

Continuing to pity himself would do no good. At this rate he would die alone.

The blanketed stallion picks himself off the hot sand and ventures towards the sound of Antares's call. Aries knew this meant the Sadim would not control the Dunes and had ever right to drive him out. They may have lived together in peace for some time beforehand, but they were still strangers to one another. The sooty chestnut dips his head in greeting to the red and white stallion who now stands before him. The only thing he could do now was plead his case.

"The Dunes have been my home for years now. I had two children born here and should they return, it would be nice if they could find me here." Not that he knew either child were still alive. What had happened to Fearne was still a mystery that stung just as hard as they day she left Salem. "I promise I wont be any trouble. I don't seek anything else from you than just to stay in peace." Pleading brown eyes rise to meet the stallion's gaze.
