The travels brought me here… (Open)

Fall, its was a glorious time of year. The weather was cooling down and the birds were migrating to warmer climates. Yet, a heavy beast with muscle lining every piece of its body could not help the gentle smile that graced its face. Blinking amber eyes up at the sky that was covered in clouds, the stallion let his body relax from its stiff position. The flicking of bugs against skin sent nerves twitching, but that was the only real inconvenience. With a simple flick of his tail, the beast flicked away a lot of the bugs and those more pesky did come back, but at times what could one really do?

Thundering out a breath, the stallion named Voyager moves out from under the tree cover and out into a little meadow. The urge to feel the cold air pelting his skin had the beast shivering in anticipation. He was giddy as finally the first clap of thunder sounded in the sky. Whickering his own glee, Voyager pranced forward as rain finally began to fall. Not always did the rain come first, but it was certainly his favorite part about these wonderful fall storms. With his hooves prancing though, the stallion almost danced in the rain as it fell for the first time in what he thought was forever. Bacardi graced him a home sheltered from the sun, but it was almost a musical song when the rain dripped through the pine needles.

As rain fell and thunder roared, the beast let the rain coat his frame until he was literally dripping in the grass. Wiggling his ears, the stallion looked to where a puddle was starting to form. His bright eyes danced with glee before he bounded over to it. He was still young enough to play and he only had Cromer to worry about. With the lead stallion being Bacardi over all though, he thought just one night of play would not be terrible. It was something everyone needed to do once in a while. He did wish though that he was not alone playing.

Bounding around and splashing in puddles, Voyager was slightly oblivious to everything around him. If someone came up now, he would be startled to say the least. Yet, who knows… Anyone could join him in this play.
