Then she died and that caused a stir. Parvati, being the wonderful leader she was, stepped in and allowed the child a few drinks until the colt was strong enough for the swim home. Maybe she should have asked more questions before allowing the arrangement, but it became clear why she had agreed. An innocent child would have died without her.

Summer came and the land settled. She stayed at home contemplating of what she might do next with the Inlet. Was her brother truly ready to take over?
