The stallion stood there, his eyes catching the faint way she shifts at his word of dear. He was trying to be kind and he was a softy at heart, but he now noticed Cromer did not entirely like the sweetness that came natural from his veins. His amber eyes flickered faintly as he shoved something deep within his mind as he watched the ocean once he turned away from the colorful mare. He would keep the thoughts to himself that were now swirling in his head for he did not wish to burden anyone with his worries. However, he could not help the one question that flared heavy in his mind and had his ears faintly flick against his mane before peeking up once more.
When she finally spoke, Voyager flicked an ear towards her before his gaze rested upon her face. “Mer. I'll remember that.” Was his reply as he gave her a faint horse like smile. He would step back for a while to let her take her time with whatever she wished from him. This time of year did make it harder to separate things and he didn't wish to over step more than he had with simply calling her one endearing name. He hadn't meant anything bad by it, but every horse was different and not raised as he had been. Not everyone wanted a doting partner and he would have to do his best to remember that.
Tilting his head at her last sentence, the stallions forelock flicked against his face and in the breeze as the wind pulled at the strands. She liked to sleep beside him, but she didn't like the other things, which was okay. Voyager once more had a faint smile as he nodded his head at her words. “I've noticed the same.” He wouldn't lie to her on that. With someone beside him, Voyager could actually sleep and not be plagued by nightmares. If he was alone, he would have a rough night with sleeping.
