Ghosts whisper in my ears.

Nahawi did not hate many things, but being lumped in with other blasphemous behavior has his blood boiling under his skin. He could feel the anger slowly heating up his frame as she stared at this mare that still had not spoken her name. He watched her fur slightly shift with the breeze as his own body trembled from the cold front that it brought with it. His mind was racing to keep up with her emotions and keep his own in check. Yet, the poor stallion could not even handle his own pain let alone the anger that wanted to burst free from his broken body. If he could stand, his body would be held high with ears pinned and his tail raised behind him. He hated how people just assumed the worst of new horses and it drove him up the flipping wall.

Listening to her through his anger and the now quiet storm, Nahawi raised a brow and snorted. “Vadim?” He questioned, his head tilting faintly before he sighed as he shifted just enough to rest a bit more comfortably. “He was taken to the badlands ma’am. He was raided when everyone else was busy and the lovely lagoon boss did nothing.” Huffing out a breath, Nahawi rolled his eyes back as pain rocked through his frame before he could close his eyes. He wanted to stand and move, but for now he was stuck here listening to this mare that was certainly believing she was abandoned by the one he could tell she cared about.

“I don’t know what is happening where he was stolen to, but I know if he could he would probably come for you if he promised. Vadim did not seem like the sort that would be lost forever. I tried to get him back myself, but the lovely badlands heir was too afraid to fight me herself and had Rafe step in.” That in all honesty had the lagoon stallion more pissed than anything else at the moment. “She wants him there and wont give him up. I am not sure how you would get to him now unless you're willing to swim there and beg him to rescue you.’ With those words out, Nahawi finally laid his head to the ground. “Vadim would not abandon someone unless he had no choice.”
