Falls

Force-claiming is not allowed here. This is a peaceful, neutral area meant for socialising.

Duck, Duck, Goose! [Martyr, Voyager]

Tired of roaming. Tired of constantly watching the world change around her. Yet it was natural was it not? The cream and ivory found herself moving again. Into the Falls this time. Neutral land that no one could charge at her from the shadows and force her away somewhere. Not that Duckie would really put up a big fight. It would not be appeasing to the Irish Cob but she would not hassle hard with another. It was a mare's duty was it not to appease to a captor of the soul right?

No. Duckie wasn't that 'Easy-go-lucky'. Not to that extent anyway. She might put up some of a hassle rather. A social creature who believed in being treated fairly after all. Duckie liked the conversation enough as the last one really. What she didn't like was being mistreated. Who did? Duckie never understood those creatures who just slunk away and put up with it. It was not fair. It was not right. Never would be in her eyes or thoughts. It wasn't hard to respect those who pledged themselves to you. Perhaps not at first but eventually they did if you gave them the chance. Right? Duckie never asked for much. A home and to be happy. Companions and friends. Friends were always nice. Perhaps a martyr whom she could pledge her undying loyalty to someday.

No. Duckie wasn't asking for the world anything. Was she? Did love exist really anymore? Was it worth searching still? A part of her wondered really now. Deep down though; a part of the buckskin paint couldn't lose hope. She didn't allow it. No matter what her newest worries told her of there being no hope left. The painted cream and ivory creature shifts slightly from her movements to find herself on the far bank of the Falls. Soft honey colored eyes star into the towering roar that was the falls themselves. Ears flicked and swiveled away from the thunderous sound a little.

There is a smile on her lips and those eyes falter not from the water but briefly to look around her. Take in her surroundings so that she might notice if another is approaching her. She would hear them no doubt but it was more for comfort than not. Otherwise she's merely watching the water bubble and foam where the falls met the pool. "So beautiful and powerful." Nothing more is said. Nothing more is needed. Those were words enough for now.
