We don’t have enough qualified, experienced pilots or air-traffic controllers or police officers or twenty other skilled employees I could list right away. Why?
Hmmm…
What was a primary source of qualified, experienced employees for those positions, fifty years ago? Military veterans.
I’m not talking about twenty-year veterans, but it could include them. I’m talking about young people who have spent two years, four years, or even ten years growing up, gaining maturity and experience in the US military, working the jobs we now lack experienced employees for.
And, we could even gain a trained military, ready for war or ready to discourage China or Russia or Iran from getting out of line.
