Snapdragon turned her gaze away for a short while, not wanting to keep all of her attention stuck to him. She was hungry and she did her best to hide her unease for the most part by slowly eating the grasses around her. She knew she should be leaving him there in the distance, but her blue eyes could not fully leave the figure in the distance. Snapdragon was curious of him as she has not met many others out in this world, but at the same time she did not wish to let anyone in just yet considering she was on a mission of sorts.
As he came closer slowly, Snapdragon faintly felt appreciation for how he was taking his time to come near. Most other horses would just push through the grasses with a swiftness that would have her running the other direction with her tail held high and its long white strands billowing in the breeze. The draft part of her bloodline was evident in this young mare just by how thick her legs already were. If not for the fact she was a mutt of other genetics, Snapdragon could pull off being a full brown draft other than the leaner build that took her he'd and the bulkiness to a more Leander state.
Finally the young male was close enough to speak without yelling. Snapdragon lifted her blue eyes to scan over him for a faint moment as his words entered her ears and faintly tickled something deep inside her that was the niceness she knew she possessed. Flicking her ears atop her head, Snapdragon swallowed the grass in her mouth before she let her voice echo into the silent day that was around them. “My name is Snapdragon.”
