This is my resurrection

Zurok had been in hiding deep within the forested areas of the Bay, nursing the wounds he had sustained. The sable Arabian stallion knew he needed to venture out and locate his herd, to ensure the safety of his mate and offspring. Despite the pain that coursed through his body with each step, Zurok made his way across the Bay, his movements hindered by the wet spring sludge that clung to his legs.

As he paused to catch his breath, the familiar scent of a mare reached his nostrils, followed by the sight of Margarita, a mare he had longed to see. Excitement surged through him, and he let out a resounding whinny to call out to her, unable to contain the joy of finding her again. "Margarita! It's a relief to see you," Zurok exclaimed, his heart racing as he made his way towards her, his wounded body protesting with each step. The deeper wounds throbbed and oozed as he approached her, but the sight of the beautiful pinto mare made him forget about the pain.

"I thought I had lost you forever. I have missed you like the flowers miss the sun on a cold winter's day," he confessed, breathless with emotion as he reached out to nuzzle her. Despite the cracks in his wounds, Zurok's focus was solely on the mare before him, his love for her overpowering the discomfort he felt.

Margarita's presence had a soothing effect on Zurok, and he found himself momentarily forgetting about his injuries. He longed to be reunited with his herd and to ensure the safety of his offspring, but being with Margarita was a balm to his soul. The stallion's bond with her surpassed the physical discomfort he experienced, and for a moment, he found solace in her presence.

As they stood together, Zurok took in the sight of Margarita, her gentle gaze and the warmth of her presence filling him with a sense of peace. Despite the pain that still lingered, the stallion felt a surge of gratitude for being able to be with her once more.

The reunion with Margarita had provided a much-needed respite for Zurok, and as they stood together, the stallion knew that he would persevere through the pain to ensure the safety and well-being of his herd. With Margarita by his side, he found the strength to push through the discomfort, his determination strengthened by the love he felt for her and their family.
