DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO TRUTH.

(OOC - Pirate gave the okay for physical touch)

Nahawi kept his head raised, ears perked forward and listened. His long tail flicked at his hocks as his muscles quivered with every piece of hail that hit him, but he did not stray from where he stood. The red dun let his blue eyes search over the territory, but he saw nothing for what felt like the longest time. His ears went to tuck to his head at that thought when a resounding call finally answered his own and he turned to face the direction it came from. He could not hear hooves or breathing, but with how heavy the hail hit the ground and the whirling winds of something he couldn't see through the tree’s filled the air, he was curious of who came his way.

Blinking his eyes, the red stallion was about to step forward when he saw the horse. His front right hoof was lifted in the air to go closer when the other stallions' words filled his ears and had him stilling. With his one leg still in the air, Nahawi slowly took in everything that was said before he gave a faint sigh and went to step backwards now, not wanting to be caught between a rock and a hard place at this point. “My name is Nahawi.”

Flicking his ears about him, the red dun was about to turn and leave when the sound of the hail falling even faster had him just choosing to do the right thing at this point. Moving forward with courage, Nahawi stepped close to the pale stallion and lowered his head. “We do not have time for introductions Prairie Prince.” Nahawi could scent Zevulun on him and knew with how he had come to his call that this stallion was not a normal herd mate. He meant something and it had him softly nudging his nose to the pale beast's chest. “I will not cause harm to your home.” With those words, Nahawi gave him a good shove as the tornado he could now identify came in their direction.

Raising his head, Nahawi saw that it was coming hot and heavy their way from somewhere in the West and his head shook before he gave a bellow and for a third and harder time, shoved the shorter stallion towards the beach. “GO!” He shouted. He would continue to push at him, to make him move. Boss or not, Nahawi’s gut instinct and ingrained ways had him trying to save someone else before his own body. With that though, a branch came flying from the distance and shot towards Nahawi, but the red dun bent his frame and hid where the sharpened stick landed as he went to lurch forward, about to push the stallion again.
