Φιλότιμος γὰρ ἀνὴρ πάντα πάντοτε.

A MAN OF HONOR IS AT ALL TIMES A MAN OF HIS WORD.

There Had been no time to really check on Cromer. Voyager had been enjoying his peace before this and now he had to step between her and a Lagoon mutt. He thought Nahawi was changing the Lagoon, but so far he had seen far more trouble just by what had been brought to the Forest. His mare had almost been snatched away from him and the lackeys of that toxic environment were sniffing around their home. He would have to talk to Bacardi about this, but at least he had managed to keep Cromer from being raided and it eased the flaring fire in his chest.

Continuing to hold his ears pinned, Voyager watched the mutt turn away after Cromer had spoken of going to Roamer. Voyager would not force her to stay with their daughter long, but finally he made up his mind and chased after the stallion before him. The dark clad boy needed to stay away from his home and he did his best to instill a bit of fear with how his large body chased the other towards the beach where he went to head home. Tossing his head, Voyager reared up and gave a scream before his large hooves once more hit the ground and he snorted. The forest was his home, even if it was led by Bacardi. The territory lead was supposed to have a safe home, but right now they were facing a losing battle.

Tossing his head, Voyager turned back to where he had come and extended his long legs into a trot that ate the ground quickly. His long black tail was raised high against his legs as he proudly pranced back home. He had protected a mare for the first time since coming to the islands and it gave him a sense of strength. He knew it would come, but he had been sparring and he would continue to do so until he was strong enough to fend off all of the beasts out in the distance.

Locking his eyes on his mare, the black brute gave a soft call to her and slowed his quick pace, his black body coated in sweat from the exertion he had given to save her and his home from the rugrats of the Lagoon. “I am sorry I had to get between you and him.” His voice was deep, a smile on his lips. “You totally could have taken him head on.”
