Solomon's green gaze rests on the dazed newborn with some concern, noting the lack of interest or awareness in the filly's eyes. She seemed dull somehow, and while he could attribute some of this to her birth, he couldn't help but worry for her and her mother both. He stretched forward to blow warm air over her face before pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. Perhaps with a little time to adjust and some rest she would perk up.

"You've almost got your own little army of daughters, I hear." He offered with a smile, weathering the stab of guilt that followed with as much grace as he could muster. He should have been here to meet each and every one of them. How could he wax on about being separated from his children when Parvati had been right next door for years and he had fumbled the ball at maintaining a good relationship with her. "I'm sorry it's taken me so long, Parv." He frowned but continued on, nodding in answer to her question. "But yes, the Cove belongs to us again."

He let silence stretch for a moment as he watched the newborn, taking time to choose his next words. Nyimara's commentary had heavily implied that she had come to meet with Parvati, and while Solomon knew Parv's dam's opinion on the silver-haired witch, he did not know if she shared the same low opinion. Nyimara had put Ysabel through hell, but that was mostly before Parvati's time and he didn't know if she had had any run ins herself with the silver mare. "While I was gone, did Nyimara come to see you?" He considered his daughter quietly, wishing he could read her face as easily as he could when she was very small. "She seems to think she's orchestrated some sort of change here."
