To be more than a conqueror

You have to learn to enjoy the pain
If you want to survive the game

Just like a typical stallion in heat, he was hasty. Nico was curious to know about any recent changes on Atlantis so he had traveled there for a look around just as he had in the past. Atlantis was a beautiful island, but it could never be as great as home. Tinuvel ran too thick in his blood to ever change locations. Still, he sometimes thought about what might have been if he had gotten to Paradise first. It has been a long time since he has seen Frķša and now that he had his own land he wondered if they wanted to be friends. An alliance of sorts.

Though when he arrived he did not find the palomino mare. Instead he found horses and smells he did not know. This is when he came upon the petite palomino sabino he had just brought home. Her beauty was too much to resist in the heat of fall. Nico did not recognize the stallion that kept her on Atlantis (ironically it was Frķša's son) so he decided an enemy or two wouldn't hurt. Why not have a little competition? Compition between herds was bound to happen over breeding season. Not everyone would be his friend.

They arrive to the Inlet from the cold sea of autumn. Nico watches the young mare as she takes in the new scenery for the first time before her attempt to sounding snippy. He chuckles with a charming smile. "I apologize for bringing you here so abruptly," He says. "You were too beautiful to leave behind." Gotta lay the charm on thick to woo a lady stolen. Right? She then asks where they were. "You have arrived at my home in the Inlet on the island of Tinuvel. Way north to Atlantis where we came from." Nico forgets sometimes not everyone was as adventurous as he was. Some horses liked to stay put.

The calico stallion steps forward, goes around her, before turning and taking a few steps backwards. "I'll make a deal with you, but first I will need your name and where you were born." He grins. The name was needed, but the last bit was just to satisfy his curiosity. Her body shape was not like those your typically see in Tinuvel. Though it was hard telling those differences now considering his father's lines have spread to far across the islands. Almost everyone had a little Solomon in them. He just hoped she did not.

"I'll start," He begins. "I am Nicodemus de Solomon, born in the Cove and born the crown Prince of Tinuvel." Introducing himself always made him proud. Being born in power was a good lady killer (or so he thought). "I am now the proud leader of the Inlet." His multicolored head dips towards her respectfully. Blue eyes rise with his head to meet her gaze. "Now it is your turn." He smiles.
