AMARINORA
mare | 14.3hhs | bay dun tobiano | Princess of the Shore

Sneaking away from the Shore yet again, Amarinora finds herself swimming towards Luthien. She had left behind her father and his herd, not wanting to stick around there much longer. She had forgotten much of her past, but currently her sights were set on what she did remember and could feel pumping through her heart. Her dad, uncle, and her best friends lived here on this island and she was super excited to get there.

Feeling her heart race in her chest, Amarinora pulled herself onto the banks of the Forest. Her blue eyes gleamed with their pale hue as her tail arched itself high, like a banner of brown and white against the star clad sky. The silver moon above her called to her soul, much like a werewolf to the moon on its fullest night. Yet, the brown and white mare found herself smiling, her blue eyes searching the dense treeline before her until finally her hooves moved of their own accord and shot her forward through the low hanging branches of the densely populated territory.

Rocketing past Voyager, the mare heard him laugh and call out to her, his voice deep and thick as he stood with Roamer and Cromer. Their small family of three had been strong when she was last here and it had her laughing herself as she shot down a trial she remembered all too well. Her body weaved through the trees and over fallen logs, her small hooves pushing through the dirt of this well walked trail as if she was the one who made it. She had helped of course, but her scent that used to linger here with Toland and Roamer was nonexistent and it had her eyes hardening with the firm need to find her dad.

Rounding a bend with her hooves sliding like a NASCAR, Amarinora popped up and over a root before her body shot off again. She could hear the cries of birds and other small rodents as she ran through the night, the full moon having lit her path through the forest. Some areas were dark, but she saw well enough that when she reached where the main herd always rested, the mare came to a thundering stop and blasted a loud breath from her nostrils. Her body held itself proud, her tail flagging in the air as she stomped a front hoof. It was all out of pure excitement, but she knew it could be taken the wrong way.

Searching the group, the mare looked at everyone of them before latching her gaze upon the one she was after. Squealing, Amarinora trotted through the grass with her ears perked forward. “DAD!” She said excitedly, not caring if she were to wake anyone even though she was curious if any were really asleep now after having run through the forest like a wild cat and snorting like a dragon. As she neared Bacardi though, Amarinora lowered her head to her dad, the stallion that would always take that largest space in her head. “Dad…” She whispered again, this time with her body fully stopped as she lowered onto her front knees, her head to the ground showing that she was here for him and hopefully allowed to return.
