VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

Humming out a faint breath, Snapdragon let her soft eyes flick over the beach of her home. It had fallen silent again, as if her herd was slowly turning into ashes. She had hoped to be busy here, to have more people to speak with, but that had not been the case in quite a long time. However, her loneliness was faintly calmed with the bundle of buckskin fluff that followed her around the territory. Bubbles was a couple months old now and took enjoyment in following her mother around the borders.

Flicking her ears, Snapdragon eyed her child for a second before her head tilted and shifted to look over her shoulder. She had a faint need to find someone she had not seen in quite a while and soon enough her lips were peeled apart as she gave a soft call into her home. Roux, that was who Snapdragon wished to speak with. The quiet mare that Siren had brought to these lands so long ago. She was curious how Roux was doing and how she was faring in this late spring weather.

Lowering her head after the call, the Crown of Paradise licked her lips before nibbling at the grasses at her feet. She was on a small bluff, gentle strands of soft vegetation growing at her hooves. She would eat and be content, listening and watching as Bubbles goes off and plays with the turtles that roam the beaches. Every so often she would see small jungle cats, but otherwise she did not worry about her draft build child.
