Bob Heffernan update. Bob has asked me to advise that he was discharged from hospital today and is now back at his home in Lismore. Despite his ordeal and the resultant sight impairment, his spirits remain incredibly high. Slowly Bob's eyesight is improving but it could be some time before he is able to get back on his tractor and plough a paddock.
Bob has asked me to relay his most sincere gratitude, appreciation and thanks for the many phone calls and messages which he received, and apologises for his inability to respond to the text messages.
Max Lollback (FENG) visited Bob yesterday, which was indeed a surprise for him. I bet the war stories were flowing thick and fast!
I am not aware of who else may have visited Bob.
