Sakir is not alone with nature for long. A sound behind him—a subtle shift in the air and the soft rustle of long grass—catches his attention. He turns, ears flicking forward as he senses the presence of another. His molten amber eyes land on a lithe red dun paint mare, her bright gaze meeting his with kind curiosity. For a brief moment, he is reminded of Iset, who had once gazed upon him with the same intrigue.

Sakir straightens, his posture relaxed but alert with ears pressed forward and neck arched minimally, an automatic response to the presence of Osiris' beauty. He takes in her appearance, noting the ease with which she carries herself and the natural grace in her movements. She is comfortable here─the kind of comfort only grown from a life spent familiarizing oneself with the present locale.

There is a warmth in her eyes that reflects a welcoming spirit and Sakir remains composed, offering her a polite nod.

"I did, thank you," he replies to her inquiry, his voice calm and measured. "Though I am not certain I have finished making my way." He had departed his homeland with no final destination in mind, only the intention of stopping when it felt right. He offers her a small, warm smile, his eyes reflecting a quiet confidence. "My name is Sakir. It's a pleasure to meet you."

As he speaks, he studies her for a moment longer, genuinely curious about this new acquaintance. "Are you native to this land?" he asks, his voice limned with genuine interest.
