Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

The longer they walked in silence, the more Ashteroth mentally berated herself for her actions. She stood for freedom; fought for freedom. Why had she given in to such petty feelings to claim this stallion? Thankfully when they reached the Peak, she wasn’t the one that broke the silence. Despite the time it had taken them to reach it, the mare had no more of a clue as to what to say than she had when they left the Commons. Blue eyes, not quite as cold and indifferent as her mother’s but still guarded, look to him as he speaks. His words only causing more questions to crowd in to her mind.

“Why would you want to help your jailer?” she asked flatly. If anything, he should want her to be weakened so that he had a better chance of escaping. Not being a fighter was rather clear to her from the time they met, but again, him bringing it up only confused Ashteroth. Why would he want to seem weak?

Maybe he was just kind?

The idea was hard to fathom, but Ashteroth had not been without kindness in her life. It made her wonder if she had been here in the Peak too long. The anger and hate towards the Lagoon making her bitter and defensive in ways she shouldn’t be. Maybe she was becoming too much like her mother, and not enough like her father?

With a swish of her tail, Ashteroth looked out at the view again. Hoping that her own indecisive feelings hadn’t betrayed her in her gaze. “Help is always appreciated.” she tried again, not wanting to seem so skeptical of everything. It was her fault he was even here to begin with. Not another intruder that came barging in.

ASHTEROTH
