Fall was in full swing and he was doing exactly as he did every fall. Stick close to Adonia to make sure she stays safe. She had expressed to him last season she no longer wanted any more children which was fine by him. He did miss the sound of tiny hooves sometimes, but he got to see plenty of them around Tinuvel. The younger generation was bursting either life especially Parvati's bunch.
Besides, their sons were grown and he was just awaiting the day he had grandchildren to visit. The pale stallion smiles at that thought, but it soon fades. If he could make it that long it is. He sons didn't seem to have much interest in finding mates nor did they leave their mother's side much. That, and this nagging feeling in his belly. Something wasn't right. "Ill be back," He says to his mate before walking off.
Lately he hasn't been feeling the greatest. His stomach got upset a lot. He tried his best to hide this from his family so every time he felt the urge to vomit or get sick he excused himself for other reasons. As he pushes his legs as far as he could make it, Lorcan's stomach pain comes to a head just towards the edge of the territory. At first he didn't hear Nico nearby, but as soon as he was done letting out the contents of his stomach he heard hoof steps.
He peers around a tree to find Nico walking near the border. In attempts to turn his relative away from his spot of sickness, Lorcan reveals himself with a nicker. He comes towards Nico with a large smile and nudges his shoulder inland. "Seems we had the same idea. The rest of this side is clear so why dont we head back inward to check on the herd?" Hopefully that would work. Nico did look awfully tired and rightfully so. He had a lot on his mind.
