Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

The Lagoon General is dead.

The announcement quickly earns Ashteroth’s attention. Although she did not partake in most things Marceline had going, that news, at least, garnered some sort of reaction. The painted mare leaves her most frequent post to step closer to the gathering. Her blue eyes briefly flicking over to Khar’pern who had finally returned, before Serenity’s voice caused her ears to briefly tip back. It seemed her sister hadn’t just annoyed her, as Khar finally stepped forward and added her voice to the mix.

Ashteroth loved the hot-blooded feeling and chaos of a fight. A trait she had earned from her mother. But Khar’pern was right, this reeked of trouble. It wasn’t just a brawl that only affected her. This would set a target on everyone’s back.

“Where would we get such help?” the painted mare asked, breaking her silence. “Would stallion run herds truly give up their daughters for our cause?” Although she’d had the freedom to choose, Ashteroth did not think all were so lucky. Perhaps the Peak had been too focused on the Lagoon and not the other Islands. “We should try to form alliances.” Her hard blue gaze left Khar’pern to rest upon Marceline. “Do you still have any?” Surely she could not have been Queen on Salem without at least a few?
