Sigmund had left for the Arch after discovering the body of their fallen brother. Lorcan had not been the oldest sibling, but it appears he was the first to go. Sadness fills the air as Sigmund finds Has and informs him of the news. Haskuldr insists that he came along to break the news to Parvati and then finally to Nico.

As they walk back to the Inlet (Sigmund guiding him to the body first), Haskuldr tells Sigmund of the troubles he has faced lately. The Arch had freshly changed hands with Mariael's death. It came weeks after learning sweet Silka had also passed. Had had always had a soft spot for Silka ever since he met her. He had voted for her to be lead mare way back when. Now they both were gone and he wondered how Sule was handling it. Was he gone too?

Loneliness crept on, but he decided he still wanted to stay in the Arch. Loyalty or stubbornness he wasn't sure which was driving the notion. His family in the Inlet and Cove was still close and he could visit whenever he wanted. "Does mother know?" Has asks. Sigmund shrugs, but he assumed she did. Ysabel has been scarce lately and hard to pin down. They reach the body where Halskudr says his private goodbye as Sigmund stands back.

"I appreciate you coming to get me." Has says as he rejoins Sigmund who tends to be the quieter one of their group. Not that he was any louder, but Sigmund barely ever talked outside of his small circle. The pair headed away from Lorcan in search of Parvati who reacted as usual when they found her. All the tears flew out of that girl and they had to wait awhile before she was ready to go find Nico.

The group progressed forward until they finally found Nicodemus walking by himself. "Brother," Parvati sniffles as she tries to speak through her emotion. Parv has had a ton of her own troubles along with the rest of them. Ironically Sigmund was now the most stable of the group.
