I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother. If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit. Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

The grullo stallion strolled beneath the moss-ridden boughs of the Lagoon. Excitement thrummed in his body like a livewire, electrifying his every nerve. By chance, Tribulation had successfully recruited a new member into the Lagoon's brotherhood. The black splash stallion Blizzard had been seeking someone to permit him and induct him to their ranks. By the sweetest kiss of fate, it had been this painted brute to find him first.

By Garmr's decree, this made it possible for him to claim Morgana, the golden-painted mother of his son, for his own. No one else would be able to touch her or otherwise keep her from him. It would incense her to no end; he was sure of it. Yet she would be his all the same.

She was grazing when his black and silver eyes beheld her. Their boy Talon --an apt name for a child of his-- lay in a heap on a bed of moss. From Temeprance's absence, the grullo knew he would have to go find the filly and return her to Morgana later. He slowed and then boldly entered the bubble of their daily life. A smile rested on the tovero's lips, a special one just for her, before Tribulation's attention turned to the boy.

"I hope you've been good for your mother, Talon," he says with a teasing wink, but it is for Morgana, too.
