Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Faster than the flames (Vogue)

The red chestnut mare looked up at the stone path to the peak. Letting out a breathe she started the walk up, allowing her mind to wander a little as she walked. She vaguely remembered the daughter they were looking for, she had only been a foal when the daughter disappeared. She remembered the chaos it had caused though, that was burn into her mind.

She hated being the bait for that painted stallion, he wasn’t kind especially not to those like her, those who had no choice in their lives. She’d been a prisoneer her whole life, didn’t know any different but to follow orders. Didn’t mean she liked it though, and the scars littering her body told of the amount of times she had rebelled.

Reaching the top she scanned around, their were several horses around, but not the one she was looking for. Her eyes continued to flick from left to right as she moved quietly further into the peak, searching for the painted mare that would resemble him.

It wasn’t long before she locked eyes on the one she searched for, one that had a familiar look to the stallion who commanded her. She swollowed nervously, she hated this next part on the few times she’d be asked forced to do it.

With a sigh she started a walk towards her target, tipping her head up and moving it from side to side, wide eyed. The perfect distracted newcomer act. Well, part of it wasn’t an act, she was new to the area after all.

Unless the mare had moved, because she couldn’t actually see where she was going, she would walk into her in 3… 2….1….
