GUIDELINES
common sense, really
i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
whispers in the tall grass

The lingering cloud of his musings lifted some when the sound of a female voice met his ears. Sable auds twisted toward its source, followed by the stallion’s hazel gaze. Upon seeing her, the cloud lifts entirely. The expression on his largely white face is friendly enough. Though the sudden appearance of the strange mare had surprised him a little, Lir reminded himself that they were near the beaches, which meant she hadn’t come far unattended.

The sable paint gave her an assuring smile; she had asked if he was alright. “I am well, lady. Just wondering after my family.” Hazel eyes glance over her form, still dripping with saltwater. Lir didn’t often see others fashioned in her blue color, but he did his best to not let his gaze linger longer than what might be deemed respectable. Shaking his head, a chuckle softens the edges of the stallion’s words. “No apology necessary, Birdy." The nickname humored him. “I enjoy honest questions such as yours."

"My name is Lir,"
the sable bobs his head in an introductory manner. “Have you ever visited the Prarie before?" He didn't recognize her, but that might not mean much.

Lir
