The black splashed stallion had come looking for trouble, and perhaps a warning thrown in for good measure but he had not expected to walk into.. well this!
His first question, to himself of course, had been where had it come from? The chance of it having been on the island since birth wasn’t impossible but was slim.
Still he only chuckled as he stood some distance away watching the drama unfold before him, the dark part of him loving to see the grey mare suffering not just from a previous fight but now from this swine who had invaded her lands. His instinct to goad her was very strong, still she probably wouldn’t hear him over the amount of noise that boar was making.
He was standing out in the open, easily within sight of the forest lead and her herd, still he hadn’t come here to fight necessarily, just give her a warning. But now, the lagoon stallion was having way too much fun simply watching the chaos that was insueing as they all darted for the water, it was a good plan chance are the swine wouldn’t follow.
He couldn’t help moving closer as he called out to the grey draft You look like your having problems? he mocked ice blue eyes sparking with malice and humour. Unfortunately he hadn’t actually thought this part through.
With its prey now in the water and out of reach, and the lagoon stallion having made himself know, the boar had turned and set his sights on the only animal not in the water.
Ah crap Blizzard snarled, realising his mistake. Spinning on his haunches the moment his front hooves touched the earth his hind ones were aiming at the boars head. A straight double barrel to the brain would probably end this beast, but his chances of hitting it in the perfect spot without being gored weren’t so good. So instead he retreated into the waves, looking back to snarl at the current cause of his foul mood he narrowed his eyes on the beast, before turning those eye on the forest lead. Curious to see what she would do now.
