Using her grief to fuel her rage she span on the infuriating stallion, teeth snapping in his direction in warning, ears pinned to her skull. You had no right! I’m nothing to you, why have you done this? To get back at Nico for something? She spat the questions at him. Please don’t tell me this is just because your bored she snarled.
His words only made her more angry saving? SAVING she practically screamed at him. Your gonna need saving if I have anything to do with it. Does it make it you feel big and strong to tear a mother from her son? Tell me, do you have kids? Or ones you treat like yours? How would you feel if someone stole them away from you?! she snapped, fury making her chest heave.
So, you don’t even know my name? Proving my point that I’m nothing to you? No-one. Otherwise you might know my name was Raini she shook her head. You know he’ll retaliate right? And when he steals one of your mares, what’s your bright plan then she questioned.
Shaking her head she stalked closer, her initial plan had just been to walk past him, but she stopped right next to him, her words low, deadly And if my reckless boy, who has only just found a new family to interact with comes looking for me, because it’s the sort of thing he’d do, if you DARE put a mark on him, I’ll kill you. Her voice was full of warning, the typical deadly intent of a mothers protectiveness, before she stalked away from him a few paces. Her head full of worry for her son, because she really wouldn’t put it past him to come searching for her, they hadn’t long joined Nico’s herd and before then it had only been the two of them for his whole life.
