She looks confused. This only stirs a grumble out of him as frustration grows. Would he have to say it again? The thought alone causes him to wish to abandon this whole idea. Usually his ideas were good, but this one? He was beginning to think it had the makings of nothing good. The reason behind it was smart, I guess, but it might not be worth this humiliation.
Warwick just stares at her with an icy stare and his own frown until she finally moves. His ears flick as she shakes her hair wondering if she was about to refuse. Instead she seems to agree. Manners, blah he wanted to hurl. Of course if he did that she may not believe he did want to learn something from this experience. Never ask another mare about wooing the rest of her gender. This would be the first and only time he ever did. She makes a comment about him saying shut up to which he nods his head stifly.
It would help if he could look more convincing. Silence falls between them again, but it doesn't last as long as prior. Thankfully, she responds in a way that could move the conversation forward. Her question makes him pause. Which answer did he really want to give? His eyes roll with attitude. "I guess whatever it is that won't make them always look at me the way you do." He snorts. "I never got to see my parents together, but I heard stories of the strong bond they shared. How do I achieve that?" It wasn't entirely false.
He wasn't looking for forever at this point in his life, but a loyal companion could be nice. It would be even better if he could find one that would battle beside him. Carry out his mission with him.
