Why not lock the front door and leave the bay doors closed? It’s a (seemingly) small deterrent, but will remove a large amount of the walk-in psychs or non emergencies. Those account for nearly all walk ins. Many of which pose safety concerns for the members. If a chief has to be let in during a check, so be it.
