Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

The Offspring

Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Kythri (Khyber x Lavender)
Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I am the FIREBRINGER;

The silencing of birds is the cream stallion’s first indication that he is no longer alone. Fluted lobes swivel atop his skullcap as the young stud lifts his head from where he had been lazily grazing on a patch of salty marsh grasses out of boredom more than real hunger. Life in the desert had instilled an instinct to take advantage of nutrients when and wherever it was found, whether it was appealing to his palate or not was a completely different story.

Blue-green eyes shift towards the rustling of underbrush as a frosted beast of chocolate hues manifests from the dense shadows created by the underbrush. Unfamiliar and too alike mother in appearance to ignore, Cahyr automatically shifts his stance to face the silver-haired stallion. Muscles tense beneath his pale coat as the stallion comes to a halt before him with a sqelching of mud and cocky smirk on his lips. ’..you’d think freedom…. Would look a little happier...’ The graveled sarcasm in the stallion’s tone draws a scoff from his own lips. ”Clearly you have never been put in my position, freedom looks a LOT different to me.” he responds, his mud-stained banner flicking irritably against his heels. No. He had not been given much choice in this decision. Yet the temptation to do as he pleased for once like this stallion suggested is…. Tempting. He has always been forced to follow mother or father’s laws and governing…. Like some child. Being seen for once as a stallion in his own right might not be nearly as bad, even if the smell of mud and stagnant water was less than appealing when compared to the dry arid desert air.

’..what am I supposed to call a kid like you?..’ The question draws Cahyr from his daydreaming. Blue-green eyes narrow into slits as he exhales a hard snort and lifts his head proudly. ”You could START by acknowledging I am no KID, old man.” he snarls, venom lacing the final word spoken in an attempt to jab the same dagger back at the frosted stallion.

For a moment, he lets the silence hang on the last of his words, before finally exhaling the tension that built beneath his pale flesh. ”My name is Cahyr… you’re newest recruit apparently. Supposedly I can learn a lot from you lot though I must admit….” he continues, pausing to glance around them at the absence of stallions before turning back to the muscluar beast with a cocky smirk of his own, ”I don’t see much in terms of skilled advisors. Leave you to man the fort alone, did they?”
