and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Chaotic Energy

Pan was grazing on what she could find within the shade of a tall tree. Feeling eyes on her she lifted her head to spot Thranduil not too far from her. She gave him the smallest of smiles, knowing she had to be careful what the other eyes around here saw.
Did she like the Lagoon itself? Not particularly, but she stayed because of him. So much had changed since she had first come to Lagoon, unwillingly as it may have been at first. She remembered the argument they had gotten into last year when he try to convince her to have his foal, a foal that would be pledged to the Lagoon itself, she had flipped out, the ideal of bringing a foal into this world to be used as a bargaining chip so to speak hadn’t sat well with her.

But then, both herself and Thranduil had found a way to express their feelings, confused as those feelings might have been. She had found it awkward at first to express her fondness for him, having grown up being unwanted she wasn’t entirely sure what love was, but she was pretty sure that is what she felt for the green eyed stallion.

So it was hardly a surprise that as the season came again this year, it was highly likely she now carried his foal. The thought excited her and worried her at the same time. Not only was she worried about being a bad mother, after all her own mother was hardly a role model for that, but she was still concerned about bringing a foal up in the Lagoon, especially if it was a filly. She had no doubt in her mind Thranduil would protect his child, regardless of their gender, but she also didn’t wish for him to get hurt, or worse, doing so.

Once more looking over to him she frown, noticing the lines of tension in his body, to others they would probably think it was just due to the season and the surrounding mares, but Pan had gotten to know him, thought it was something else.

When she once more caught his eyes she let a subtle tilt of her head towards a much more secluded and private spot before beginning to walk there herself. She waited until he join her, allowing the slightest brush of her muzzle over his, knowing not to linger in case others saw.
What bothers you? she asks, her voice not much more than a whisper.
Letting out a slightly sigh, wishing she could speak and act freely around him and not have to worry about who might be watching.
