Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

The Offspring

Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Kythri (Khyber x Lavender)
Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

when you search the dark, you get dark things

Saphris, further unnerved by his increasing proximity, slowly began to bare her teeth as the stallion came toward her. This-- the logical part of her brain that sounded an awful lot like her mother Emerson-- was what influenced the girl to instinctively raise her black lips a few degrees to reveal the tips of her incisors. It nagged at her, telling her that he was being too bold. Yet the curious (and probably hormonal) corner of her brain won out, keeping her still as his body heat slowly radiated into her skin.

The black freckled skin of her barrel quivered at the unexpected touch of his nose. Her breath quickened at the surprise. She should be wondering what his motives were or trying to get away while he seemed fairly distracted. Saphris let herself puzzle back together as he spoke. She couldn't give him anymore ground than she already had.

So, she tried to appear unaffected and have an indignant tone, which unfortunately ended up coming out rather breathy and flat. "What an impressive offer, Thranduil," she blustered. The black length of her tail lashed left and then right. The movement stirred the still air around them. "How do you propose you'll do that?"
