Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our

and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

not everyone will stay forever;

She hears her name, and it sounds nothing more than a dream. Like a ghost of a memory whispering in her ear. The mare pauses, raising her head some as her ears twist towards the different noises of the swamp until she can hear the steps of someone drawing closer. Yes, it had to be him, right? She had scented him, he had answered her; there could be no mistaking it.

Still being careful of her footing, Eriana turned and began to pick her way just a little faster through the mud until eventually she came face to face with the stallion she had been seeking. At first, she just stared at him. Her eyes wide and her expression a bit slack, as if she were speechless, in which she truly was. Even covered in a sheen of sweat, mud plastered to his legs, and marks from what she could only assume was from battle; Alioth stood before her in all his strength and glory that youth usually gave one. He was a young adult, as was she, but she had not seemed to be so blessed.

"Alioth..." she couldn't help it as his name slipped out on a breathy whisper and suddenly tears welled up in her eyes. "I'm sorry... I know I shouldn't come here.... shouldn't bother you.... but I wanted to see you..." her words seemed to tumble over themselves as she felt the flush of embarrassment wash over her. He had probably been busy, and here she had come barging in uninvited.
