Put a muzzle on me and I'll spit in your mouth.

With the sun bathing her frame in its warm light, Baba Yaga couldn't stop smiling. Her eyes dances with the contentment she felt through her whole system and her ears perked forward as she locked her full attention on her Shield. He was big and strong, but nothing about his was rough. Every time she had been around him and spoken with him gave her peace. He was a constant, one she could guarantee to be mellow and kind. He was the perfect equine in many ways, one she found herself enjoying more and more as time went by.

When he addressed her, Yaga tilted her head a bit and listened to the words that fell from his lips. She didn't say anything for a while, letting him take his time. With her ears and mind solely on him, Yaga didn't notice the breeze that softly fluttered through the open expanse around them. She didn't feel the leaves falling and gently landing upon her haunches. She was so engrossed in what he said that once the bomb practically dropped from his lips, she was dumb struck and rooted in place as her eyes widened. Her heart raced in her chest and her pulse thundered in her ears. It took a moment for her to digest it, but once she fully absorbed everything he said, her eyes watered and a tear began its downward trek towards the ground over her cheek.

“Dagda…” His name rumbled from her throat, sounding raspy as she tried to swallow around the lump. She was choked up, but it wasn't bad feelings. Pulling in a raspy breath, the mare shifted faintly upon the ground to keep herself from trembling. Her once rested hind leg was now holding her weight as she forced herself to get around the frog she swore she swallowed. “I…” Again she tried to speak, but it came out as more of a stutter as she slowly moved forward then.

Lowering her head, the mare stopped just a breath away from him with her eyes looking up at his face. “You…” she couldn't get the words out no matter how hard she tried. Instead, she just reached forward with her snout, wanting to place the softness of her muzzle against his fur. Yaga wasn't the best with words and in this moment, it shown in perfect quality.
