Memories can be so fleeting (Lucifer) Posted on August 4, 2025 at 10:43:17 AM by Teagan
Teagan had tried not to let her concern of getting back in the water show but she suspected Lucifer had picked up on it. His assurances of safety didn’t go unnoticed by the mare, she apricated the statement, not wanting to find herself in a worse situation and she really was beginning to like this stallion, perhaps even trust him. He had mention having to travel through some dangerous territories and she wondered if that was his normal route.
She noticed when he was tense and guessed these were the ‘danger’ he had spoke about, she stuck close to him, just like he had asked although she got the feeling if she had slowed he would not have left her behind, as it was he seem to set a pace she could easily keep up with, even when they entered the water he didn’t make her push herself to keep at his pace.
It was only when his body seem to relax that she guessed he was home, still she followed him far enough into the lands until he stopped. Teagan swept her eyes over the sand, with patches of tall tree’s it wasn’t as barren as she have thought it Would be. A part of her was itching to explore but she couldn’t work out why. Hopefully she would soon have some answers to her missing memories, otherwise she guessed she would just have to rediscover herself.
She glanced back to Lucifer, a small smile playing on her face as a question consumed her thoughts. So this is The Dunes I presume? she asked, glancing around once more before her dark eyes settled back on him So….. do you always travel through dangerous territories to get to where we met? She asked, trying to appear casual but there was a question in her eyes, one that hinted to the importance of this answer Or.. is there another way you’d have normally taken?
She asked, trying to determine if he had taken that route after hearing her concern of entering the ocean again, trying to keep her on dry land for as much as possible to ease her concerns.
Of course she may also be looking at this totally wrong and his choice had nothing to do with her.
