The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree

Nothing scared her more than thinking she had escaped danger just to fall right into it again. This is what she thinks as she stares into the stranger's eyes. He immediately took a defensive stance, one that she thought might being her harm, but as his eyes settle on her form he changes. She wonders if she didn't look like much of a threat. Honestly, she wasn't one. She had no fighting experience or any at all defending herself. Mother had always done that for her.

His voice causes her to jump even though he was being kind. She just didn't know what to expect or how to know she was safe. This land was unknown to her with only an old story to keep her thinking she knew something about Tinuvel. Her body adjusts to stand normally as the stallion continues to adress her. Maybe if she appeared normal he would think she was fit enough to fight back. Still, she couldn't hide the panic in her eyes.

She nearly scrambles when she realizes he saw her fright. He asks is she needs help so she nods slowly. Still unsure if this stallion could be trusted, she only gives little information. "I just escaped a stallion who had my mother and in living in the Ruins." Her lips quiver a few times as she speaks. "My mother should be coming shortly. She had me escape first." That part was a lie, but one she felt the need to tell. If he thought someone else was with her maybe she would be safe from his claim.

"Is this the Cove?" She asks. Pretty sure she was on Tinuvel despite the lack of snow right now, but she didn't know just where on the island she was.
