Re(1): Jury Has Reached Its Verdict

When there were only 10 fans regularly there at Miami Jai Alai, I was one of them, not only I could see Aritz playing hurt but I also knew from just being there and inside information that most amateurs knew, it wasn't a secret.

I don't have the means, but it would probably help if we knew the statistics from the beginning to mid season from each, then from mid season to end.

I don't have an agenda and could care less if anyone thinks Erik is better, he certainly is an awesome player, but from talks with pelotaris all over the world and amateurs at least here in Florida, I can't recall anyone ever saying Erik is better than Aritz, and based on my observations, they both can catch all day, Erik is a little faster, but Aritz has a little better court awareness, Aritz reverse rebote is a weapon and the best in the business, Erik reverse rebote is solid and consistent, right side rebote is about the same, I think Aritz serve is slightly better, but the main difference is Aritz have way more shots and from anywhere in the court, one of the last partidos he had more shots in two games than Erik would shoot in a season, Erik is more conservative, but Aritz will kill your ass from anywhere and consistently with incredible shots, if you don't see that, you have not been watching Aritz too much. I make highlights reels of the partidos in Spain, sometimes with Aritz you just feel like posting the whole damned game cause is an Aritz show.

My top frontcourts in full size court jai alai are Aritz by a good margin, Urreisti and Johan, then closely following in no particular order Laduche/Barandika/Erik/Jon Tambour/Olharan

there's a bunch in Magic City that with constant practice in big courts could be top players, obviously Goixieri, Zulaika, Ithurria, and many others.

Haven't seen Hormaetxea lately, but he's an very good player too
