Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Chaotic Energy (Birthing post)

Pan paced the small area she was currently occupying, her breathing laboured as ripples of pain went through her abdomen. Her coat slick with sweat as the contractions grew closer together, she was working on instinct having never been around foals, pregnant mares or seen another give birth.
She was trying to keep the worry from her mind, foaling in the Lagoon make her vulnerable and though she knew Thranduil was around they had tried to keep their interactions to a minimum as to not bring attention to their relationship, especially after he’d lost the position of marauder.

Dropping to the ground in the little nook she had been occupying she glanced up at a dark starless night sky, the cloud cover preventing much moonlight from getting through the tree canopy. Laying flat she once more let instinct take over to push the foal from her body, letting out a tired sigh when it was over. Folding her legs underneath her as she sat up she spun her head round, confusion taking over when the foal she had carried for almost a year didn’t move much.

Hauling herself back up onto her feet she worked to clear the afterbirth first from his face, making sure he was breathing before continuing down his neck and body, nudging the sluggish foal as she went. Her mind screamed at her that this wasn’t normal, that something was wrong, however her inexperience didn’t know what.

Glancing around she hoped to find Thranduil nearby but it was impossible to see much in the dark. Thranduil! she whisper yelled into the dark night, feeling the panic start to well up inside her as she went back to trying to get her sluggish foal to respond, once more returning to his face as she switched between licking him and nudging him before placing the gentlest of nips on his flank, anything to get a response more than that of a sleepy foal from him.

(OOC: Let me know if any of that doesn’t read right for foalies condition)
