Default worst tri expectation Posted on October 23, 2025 at 01:45:00 PM by Craig G
A - high numbers = bad
B - consecutive numbers = bad
C - ascending numbers = bad
So, done deal. 678 is the perfect trifecta of negative impacts, Consecutive, ascending, high numbers. We should award it the trophy for worst tri combo on the planet.
However, as usual, the Spec 7 scoring system has a few tricks up its sleeve, and we find:
678: 1 in 108,943
687: 1 in 131,072
587: 1 in 136,400
But how many people on this planet know that? Or why?
Not that it has any practical significance, but it is cool theory. Or, an unguessable bar bet.
And raises the question of whether 567 would be the worst tri in a 7-post game. Or 789 in a 9-post game.
Or if a 9-post game has one or more impossible tri combos.
Or how about the 10-post games from yesteryear in the the Philippines? Wouldn't that be amusing if there were some voids and nobody ever analyzed it?
