GUIDELINES
common sense, really
i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
Mirror mirror.... on the wall?

Much liked a beached fish, Noctifer opened and closed his mouth many times trying to find words to answer this stallion before him. As his mouth opens and closes, it turns into the cacking a foal does around a grown horse. Lowering his head, the black boy looks at his hooves as he slowly tucks his ears to his head in discomfort. Normally he could speak, but in this moment, he found himself at a loss for words before he begins to stutter a barely audible sentence.

“I-I-I… I w-w-was wond-dering.” Swallowing after the words, Noctifer closes his eyes and rests his chin against his legs. He looked small, almost like a very young boy, which he was. Scared and alone in the face of a territory owner, Noctifer let himself try to breathe. He wasn't doing anything wrong, not really. He was roaming, doing what he had been told. He had no plan on returning to the Dunes, but his father did not need to know that. With his little plan of just wandering, Noctifer had not entirely planned on running into anyone other than those he had already crossed in the Forest.

Shaking his head slowly, He looks up through his lashes as he continues to stay small. “I-I am N-Noct-tifer.” Stuttering more, he clamps his jaws closed and waits. He wasn't sure what would come now, but Noctifer did not move to run away. Instead, even though he was shaking, the draft son of Lucifer let himself stay there for whatever came next.
