Memories Can Be So Fleeting

Teagan hadn’t been paying attention to anything when she heard it. A faint voice. Opening her eyes she twisted her head, dark eyes scanning inland but not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Must have been my mind playing tricks on me she said quietly before looking back out into the swirling sea, dropping her head to allow the water to brush again the tip of her muzzle.

Hearing a squeal followed by a thud and a large splash her head shot up, her body turning automatically as her ears pricked forward, she definitely had heard that. Cautiously but briskly she moved in the direction she was sure it had come from, the Dunes was littered with.. well sand dunes and small pools of fresh water. Her hind legs dug into the sand as she crested on of these dunes, stopping in her tracks at what she saw below.

The black stallion who had brought her here was currently covered in a mixture of sand and water in a small shallow oasis. Her head tilted slightly because something seemed… different. Her forelimbs digging into the sand as she moved slowly down the dune, cautious for a reason she wasn’t sure of.

Lucifer? She called quietly, keeping a little distance from him are you okay? She asked softly.
