Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Chaotic Energy (Escape)

Under the cover of darkness the bay spotted mare had taken her chance to escape the Lagoon, taking their young son with them. It had been decided the peak might be her best place to go, Oropher wasn’t ready to battle the ocean yet. She knew they helped mares in trouble, or at least they did if the rumours were to be believed.
Keeping her young son in front of her she insistently nudged him forward, knowing they needed to keep moving, head and ears on a swivel to listen for any signs they were being followed, or worse.. chased.

The going was slow, the colt had been born with some issue with his brain, it only spurred the mare on further to get him to the peak though. If left to grow up in the lagoon she dreaded to think which of the stallions would get there claws into him, he would be easy to talk into doing something he might not fully understand. It made him valuable.

Reaching the crest of the track that led to the peak, Pan let out a breath, nudging the colt forward further into the peak, only when she was sure they were safely in it borders did she allow him to stop. She knew he would be tired from the trek, especially as she had woke him up when she thought the time was right to run. Tucking him close to her chest, she let out a tired sigh. She wouldn’t sleep though, not yet, she needed to stay alert and on the look out for others, weather they be peak who she hoped would help her, or Lagoon who was the biggest threat of the two.

She had hated leaving him, argued with him even about not leaving without him but ultimately she knew that she needed to get herself and their son out first, find safety, only then could he try to leave as well, where they’d hopefully be reunited at some point soon, wanting nothing more than to be somewhere safe with her love and her son.
