Waiting for Nicodemus to arrive, Dreamer looked around the open expanse of land. It was gorgeous with the fall hue, marking everything with an orange and red hue. The open land was brown thanks to the dead grass, but the random leaves that floated through it made her smile. Their vibrant colors added just the right touch to the summer brunt space, but she was thankful to see it.
Hearing the stallion approach, Dreamer looked towards Nicodemus with a smile. The calico brute had never been mean to her. Instead, he had offered her an out. She could have taken it, probably should have, but she didn't. Instead, once he got closer, she lowered her head before giving him a soft nod and raising it once more. “No, nothing is wrong Nicodemus. I do have a question though.”
Licking her lips, the colorful daughter of Tyr let out a breath through her nostrils. She was not quite ready for this, but if she were to back out now, she would never get the words out. “I was wondering… if you would be willing to let me stay and be a part of the Inlet?” She could have worded that properly, something she noticed afterwards that caused her to blush.
“I uh… don't have much to offer you. I am probably adding more baggage to your life by hoping I could stay here… but I have come to like the Inlet. I also have not heard Lir come for me and honestly… I am not sure I should go back.” Dreamer wasn't the sort to make someone fight for her, but he had not even tried to come for her once. Instead, she had been left here like a sack of potatoes and she did not wish to stay that way.
