Imagine being so miserable that your whole personality is crying about who works in SLD, HQ, FPB or Pub Ed. You’re not protecting the job, you’re just another anonymous crybaby in the cheap seats whining like a baby about other people.
Not everyone is as miserable as you are. Some people figure out what works for them and move on with their life instead of hovering over assignments it’s a personality test.
No one gives 2 ####s how much time you have on the job.
No one cares where you’re assigned.
No one cares if you’re at SLD, Engine 38, or Ambulance 1.
You had the same chance to put in for those spots and didn’t. That’s on you. Turning your regret into a moral crusade doesn’t make you “old school,” it just makes you a loud load.
