DISCUSSION - CLOSES DECEMBER 19th

Hello everyone! It's time for another player discussion! This one is rather small compared to past discussions, but I still thought it was worth bringing it to you all and gauging how you feel about this before any potential action is taken.

In the past, there have been talks about reserved names, and whether the reserved names of inactive players should be deleted. From what I recall of these discussions, it seemed opinions were split - some players feel it is unfair for a player who has been inactive for a very long period to keep names reserved, while others have expressed that they would feel upset if they came back from a long period of inactivity to find their reserved names were gone.

Typically, in the past, the only time the admins would delete reserved names posts were if a player quits. However, there have been instances where players go inactive, without explicitly quitting, and their reserved names remain on the board.

Do you feel it would be fair to delete the reserved names of players who have been inactive for a long time?

The main thing to consider would be how long a player needs to be inactive before their reserved names are deleted. Do you feel it should be based on the number of activity checks they miss? How many seasons in a row they go without posting? What if a player is active in Discord but hasn't posted in-character in awhile? I want to know your thoughts and any potential ideas you may have surrounding this.

This discussion will close in two weeks' time, on December 19th.
